Creative Urgency
NEW EVERYDAY is the precept we use to frame the context in which we currently find ourselves as a gallery. A celebration of ten years of existing as a platform for the convergence of art and design. A space to share creative urgency as both a tool of expression and survival. .PUNTOYCOMA also represents a personal and intimate response from the founder, Montserrat Castanon, who has transitioned from creative director, curator, and manager to also becoming a teacher.
From a sensitive and rigorous practice, she creates pieces that celebrate permanence and slowness.
It is in this latter aspect that NEW EVERYDAY is underscored as a concept linked to daily life, materials, and transformation. For Tatlin, as for so many of his generation, education was an integral part of artistic practice. To educate was to project the future. He understood that art must actively intervene in the construction of everyday life.
In this exhibition, we present a selection of artists and designers who, from their particular contexts, confront the uncertainty of the present with sensitivity, depth, and critical thought. In an unpredictable world, where the boundaries between disciplines blur, time, our most scarce resource, becomes the greatest luxury.

His research into form, volume, materials, and production processes broke with formalism and proposed art that is useful and transformative.
Particular Contexts and Languages
In this exhibition, we present a selection of artists and designers who, from their particular contexts, confront the uncertainty of the present with sensitivity, depth, and critical thought. In an unpredictable world, where the boundaries between disciplines blur, time, our most scarce resource, becomes the greatest luxury.
It is in this latter aspect that NEW EVERYDAY is underscored as a concept linked to daily life, materials, and transformation. An invitation to imagine practices that are useful, sensitive, and open to other possible futures.
