An artwork exploring chromatic interaction and light through painterly gestures and the tactile layering of oil. The surface articulates itself through subtle gradients and density shifts, constructing purely abstract, contemplative colorfields.
Each plant form she carves and prints becomes a record: precise, deliberate, and quietly urgent. The woodblock retains the grain of the wood, the irregularities of pressure, the faint texture of the cotton paper beneath — details that keep her images grounded in the physical world even as they tend toward the graphic and the bold.

Sumie García is a Mexico City born visual artist and filmmaker, whose work has been showcased in more than 15 countries. She is part of the National System of Art Creators (SNCA, FONCA) since 2022. She has been a recipient of the FONCA's Jóvenes Creadores grant on two occasions. Her work of intervened photography has participated in solo and group exhibitions nationally and internationally and is represented by Ángulo Cero gallery in Mexico, ammann//gallery in Germany, and amman//projects in London.
Colección Estudio is the result of a collaboration between three talented industrial designers: Daniel Martinez (R), Manuel López (M), and Andrés Cacho (L). This creative partnership thrives on the combination of individual insights and collective brainstorming, resulting in sleek and focused designs that are rich in conceptual depth and crafted with care. Operating from Mexico City, London, and Querétaro , the studio doesn't have a traditional physical location; and instead thrives as a shared creative language between the three designers.
María García Ibáñez is a Spanish-born artist who has resided and based her work in Mexico City for over 15 years. María embarked on her artistic journey that spans both Spain and Mexico in 2008, when she received a scholarship from the Embassy of Mexico in Madrid. Prepared with a degree in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid and a master's in Digital Technologies from the Center for Visual Studies in Madrid and the UCM, María's artistic exploration found its roots in drawings, and the many interpretations and mediums she found for them.
As a designer, Ania Wolowska recognizes the difficulty of working with tropical woods and the limited information available about their characteristics. At ITZ, it has taken significant time to learn how to use each species, which often requires different techniques and machinery.
Karian´s work has been presented in Mexico, the United States and Europe. In 2015, she participated in the New York Foundation for the Arts' migrant artist mentoring program. She also has received numerous awards, including the PECDA Stimuli of artistic creation (2013-2014), the Alfaro Siqueiros Scholarship (2017), and the HORIZONTES Jalisco Program (2020). In 2022, she received the CASA WABI Residency and the PECDA CHIHUAHUA in the category of creators with a career in sculpture. In 2023, she was awarded the Grodman UDG USA Repatriation Scholarship.
A lo largo de su carrera, Tania se ha adentrado en una amplia variedad de campos creativos, añadiendo cada uno nuevas capas a su cambiante lenguaje visual. Su trabajo abarca desde la dirección de arte y el diseño editorial hasta la creación de exposiciones atractivas y el diseño de sistemas de señalética que guían a las personas de manera fluida por los espacios. Le apasiona profundamente el branding y la identidad visual, creando imágenes que resuenan, y aporta una mirada meticulosa a la tipografía avanzada, la maquetación y la fotografía de producto.
Andrea Bores trusts art “as a space to perturb established patterns,” believing that within the indeterminate lies a transformative potential resistant to imposition. By fusing textile and pictorial techniques with elemental materials, her practice becomes an ongoing experiment in letting matter speak—revealing the hidden code of mountains, the pulse of waters, and the ephemeral horizon of all living systems.
