Lucía Prudencio

Graduated from the National School of Painting, Sculpture and Engraving “La Esmeralda”. Lucía has presented her work individually and collectively in Mexico and abroad. Focusing part of her work on the development of graphic work and obtaining numerous distinctions.

In 2012 she began to specialize in the application of relief engraving to textile support, creating pieces of formal art and exploring the world of applied arts. From the beginning of her artistic endeavor, the vegetal forms typical of the cloud forest have been the visual starting point for developing various projects. In this way, she has been able to apprehend, mainly through drawing and engraving, the diversity of this ecosystem.

Lives and works in the cloud forest of Coatepec, Veracruz.
