Ángulo Cero is a design and art gallery for emergent Latin-American creators. It commissions unique pieces and limited editions that promote the intersection between art and design. Through the gallery in Mexico City and the online platform www.angulo0.com, Ángulo Cero combines a commercial gallery with curated content; seeking to connect and inspire emerging and well established talents with new audiences and markets.
Ángulo Cero's mission is to position Latin American design and art in the international market by featuring high quality while experimenting with formal languages, materials and production methods. As a launching platform, Ángulo Cero cultivates emerging talents and educates the market by opening a window into the Latin American creative industries.
Founder and Creative Director of Ángulo Cero. Montserrat holds an Industrial Design Bachelor´s Degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana and a Masters Degree in Design Management from the Pratt Institute. She worked in FITZ & CO, an Art PR agency, with clients such as Art Basel , Judd Foundation, Restoration Hardware and Artsy ; Cristina Grajales Gallery in New York and in amman // gallery in Cologne, with which she participated in design fairs such as Design Miami as well as The Pavilion of Arts and Design and Collective Design Fair. She collaborated with Laboratorio Arte Alameda in Mexico City producing exhibitions such as Ars Electronica, Transitio MX and RevolucionES.

She is an art historian, graduated from Universidad Iberoamericana. Her professional practice has focused on curating, editing and dissemination of contemporary art. She has collaborated for different art magazines such as Fahrenheit, Code, The City of Front, GASTV and Gatopardo, and has worked in museums like the Old College of San Ildefonso and University Museum of Contemporary Art (MUAC).

Editor in Chief of Ángulo Cero, studied art at the Universidad del Claustro de Sor Juana. She has worked for independent curatorial projects, such as the online platform for emerging art Ars Thesaurus . She has collaborated with publications such as Frente and GasTv online platform. She was Editorial Coordinator of Código magazine and currently is the Editor of the Museo Tamayo.
