Una obra que explora la interacción cromática y la luz a través del gesto pictórico y la superposición táctil del óleo. La superficie se articula mediante finos degradados y variaciones de densidad que construyen paisajes cromáticos de carácter estrictamente abstracto y contemplativo.
Cada forma vegetal que talla e imprime se convierte en un registro: preciso, deliberado y discretamente urgente. La matriz conserva la veta de la madera, las irregularidades de la presión, la sutil textura del papel de algodón subyacente; detalles que mantienen sus imágenes arraigadas en el mundo físico, aun cuando tienden hacia lo gráfico y lo audaz.
Una pieza que piensa la materia como paisaje y la superficie como archivo sensible. La lectura se mueve entre lo tectonico, lo organico y lo ritual.
Sumie García is a Mexico City born visual artist and filmmaker, whose work has been showcased in more than 15 countries. She is part of the National System of Art Creators (SNCA, FONCA) since 2022. She has been a recipient of the FONCA's Jóvenes Creadores grant on two occasions. Her work of intervened photography has participated in solo and group exhibitions nationally and internationally and is represented by Ángulo Cero gallery in Mexico, ammann//gallery in Germany, and amman//projects in London.
Colección Estudio is the result of a collaboration between three talented industrial designers: Daniel Martinez, Manuel López, and Andrés Cacho. This creative partnership thrives on the combination of individual insights and collective brainstorming, resulting in sleek and focused designs that are rich in conceptual depth and crafted with care. Operating from Mexico City, London, and Querétaro , the studio doesn't have a traditional physical location; and instead thrives as a shared creative language between the three designers.
María García Ibáñez is a Spanish-born artist who has resided and based her work in Mexico City for over 15 years. María embarked on her artistic journey that spans both Spain and Mexico in 2008, when she received a scholarship from the Embassy of Mexico in Madrid. Prepared with a degree in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid and a master's in Digital Technologies from the Center for Visual Studies in Madrid and the UCM, María's artistic exploration found its roots in drawings, and the many interpretations and mediums she found for them.
Como diseñadora, Ania Wolowska reconoce la dificultad de trabajar con maderas tropicales y la limitada información disponible sobre sus características. En ITZ, ha tomado un tiempo significativo aprender a utilizar cada especie, lo cual a menudo requiere de técnicas y maquinaria distintas.
El trabajo de Karian ha sido presentado en México, Estados Unidos y Europa. En 2015, participó en el programa de tutoría para artistas migrantes de la New York Foundation for the Arts (Fundación para las Artes de Nueva York). Asimismo, ha recibido numerosos reconocimientos, entre los que destacan los Estímulos a la Creación Artística del PECDA (2013-2014), la Beca Alfaro Siqueiros (2017) y el Programa HORIZONTES Jalisco (2020). En 2022, obtuvo la Residencia CASA WABI y el PECDA Chihuahua en la categoría de Creadores con Trayectoria en la disciplina de Escultura. En 2023, fue galardonada con la Beca de Repatriación Grodman UDG USA.

Her work spans from art direction and editorial design to creating engaging exhibitions and designing wayfinding systems that guide people seamlessly through spaces. She has a deep passion for branding and identity, crafting visuals that resonate, and she brings a meticulous eye to advanced typography, typesetting, and product photography.
Andrea Bores confía en el arte «como un espacio para perturbar los patrones establecidos», convencida de que dentro de lo indeterminado yace un potencial transformador resistente a la imposición. Al fusionar técnicas textiles y pictóricas con materiales elementales, su práctica se convierte en un experimento continuo para dejar hablar a la materia, revelando el código oculto de las montañas, el pulso de las aguas y el horizonte efímero de todos los sistemas vivos.
