This coffee table  is made-out of an extraordinary piece of Ziricote wood. Designed with a reversible tabletop, so that both sides of the plank can be admired. One side of the table is smooth and the wood grain are its main feature; while the other side contains a mixture of the grain and the tree’s irregular bark, which is well preserved.

The base of the table can be disbanded and it is also carved out from Ziricote wood. The legs are supported by four bronze pins.

The wood from the ziricote is considered the finest and most exotic of the woods from the south of Mexico. It is recognizable by its grain, which is highly irregular and has a strong contrast between the dark heart of the grain and its lighter edges. The table top is made-out of a reclaimed tree, which was found adrift in the jungles of Quintana Roo, Mexico after a hurricane. The finished product is a unique piece with a lot of personality.
