Louis Vuitton Objets Nomades By Ángulo Cero – May 22, 2023

In 2024, Louis Vuitton presented Savoir‑Rêver, an immersive one‑day showcase of its Objets Nomades collection at Soho House Mexico City, a 1930s Baroque‑style casa in Colonia Juárez. The members‑only venue’s custom furnishings and curated art collection provided a refined backdrop for avant‑garde foldable furniture and home objects by designers such as Marcel Wanders and Tokujin Yoshioka, alongside the Maison’s iconic trunks. Design studio ADHOC contributed the NAFIH bench, measuring approximately 140 × 35 × 63 cm, which merges a precision‑bent steel frame with walnut seating surfaces and plush velvet upholstery. Inspired by the traditional anafre brazier, its steel structure employs analogous bending techniques, while the walnut evokes the ocote wood historically used as fuel. Positioned within the exhibition lounge, this bench underscored the dialogue between Louis Vuitton’s global craftsmanship and Mexico’s artisanal heritage.
