Michelle Gratacós-Arill (San Juan, Puerto Rico, 1984) is an artist and designer, graduated from the School of Fine Arts of Puerto Rico, with a Master's in Experience Design from Konstfack University in Stockholm, Sweden.
In 2011, Michelle was appointed director of the Design Center at the School of Fine Arts of Puerto Rico and became a faculty member in the Graphic Design program at Dewey University. That same year, she worked on Espacio Común, a community art project and participatory design initiative for the III Poly/Graphic Triennial of San Juan.
Between 2013 and 2016, she co-founded and directed Twin Dogs Co., a company specializing in handmade forged iron furniture design. Currently, Michelle leads her own design line, focused on contemporary handcrafted production, art accessibility, and sustainability. Her work aims to foster human interaction through collaborations with artisans and organic materials, promoting conscious design in harmony with the environment.
