Saltillo México, 1982

Graduated as an Architect from the University of Coahuila, he works primarily with painting through dry mediums like dust, dirt or cement. Also explores in other fields like video and installation.
Vielma has been selected in the national encounter of young artist, Salón ACME and diverse biennials in Mexico. He has been awarded with the FONCA scholarship for young creators and recently distinguished as a fellow of the National Creators of Art System (SNCA). He has been an artist in residence in the Banff Center in Canada, the National University of Colombia in Bogotá and in Casa Wabi.

He lives and works in Mexico City.
