Cooperativa Panorámica is a group of Mexican designers formed by Ian Ortega, Moisés Hernández, Joel Escalona, Jorge Diego Etienne and José de la O. Panorámica explores new territories of design, in a truly cooperative effort, working on design exercises that interpret different perspectives and rationalities. They use design as a means of expression, in critical, inclusive and diverse ways.
Through experimentation with various resources and technologies, Cooperativa Panorámica explores the concept of transversal objects, where the intangible converses naturally with the tangible. Their work has been exhibited in Zona Maco in Mexico City, at ICFF in New York and at Maison & Objet in Paris where they were chosen as one of the promises of Mexican design.
