The word Tequio is used in the indigenous language Náhuatl to express the act of giving and sharing the best of oneself for the common good.  Inspired by this concept, DUCO Lab collaborated with Thirst Chicago to create glass pieces that made us reflect about the environmental consequences of human activity. DUCO used the blown glass technique to create a 3D graphic representation of the effect of global warming in different hemispheres.  Both shapes depict the Accumulated Cyclone Energy data collected in the last century.
