Between flashes, lights, cigarettes and eccentric cocktails, Victorie celebrates the end of the launch of the new collection of her best friend Saint Laurent. It is 1970, men and women wear tailored suits in colorful tweeds with pointed lapels, wide pants and silk gauze as a tie. Guests celebrate amidst minced-leather cushions, floor-to-ceiling sofas, and rugs; collection of objects that Victorie would collect on trips around the world with Yves, especially to Mexico and Morocco. The tea served begins to have an effect on the guests. Strange things are about to happen. The room is transformed, a metallic curtain lowers from the ceiling and envelops the space, shooting stars stop and give life to the chandelier. The rugs begin to move, come to life and rise above the ground. The lamps become robots. Victorie approaches the window and realizes that they have traveled through time and are now sometime in the future.
