Pablo Pérez Palacios

Pablo Pérez Palacios holds a degree in Architecture from the Universidad Iberoamericana and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Barcelona (2000-2005). Later, he earned a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University in New York. In 2007, he co-founded the studio DCPP Arquitectos with Alfonso de la Concha, which he maintained until 2017, when he established his independent practice, PPAA, Pérez Palacios Arquitectos Asociados.

PPAA is an architecture firm based in Mexico City, focusing on projects that address architecture, art, planning, urban design, and interior design. The studio's approach is distinguished by prioritizing ideas over form, leading to architecture that seeks to transcend function and physical space to become a space of reflection.

The work of PPAA has been recognized nationally and internationally, receiving awards such as the Silver Medal at the A’Design Award (2013), the Premio Firenze Entremuros 2017 for Casa Campestre, and the Noldi Schreck Award 2019 for Monterrey 55. Additionally, the studio has collaborated with contemporary artists such as Rita Ponce de León and Abraham Cruzvillegas in interventions that have been exhibited at major international platforms. Their work is characterized by an intellectual and experimental approach that explores the relationship between architecture and contemporary art.
