Omar Wade is an architect graduated from the Universidad Iberoamericana in 2010 and is currently a partner and workshop leader at OW Arquitectos, an architecture firm founded in 2000 in Mexico City by Oscar and Omar Wade. His foray into sculpture began in 2011 at the Academia de San Carlos, marking a shift in his professional career by merging his interests in architecture, sculpture, and design.
Omar’s work explores the relationship between geometry, functionality, and materiality, always striving for simplicity and beauty in his creations. His geometric pieces emphasize the interaction between design and form, known for their simplicity and focus on materiality. Omar currently lives and works in Mexico City, where he continues to create pieces that integrate the three disciplines he works in.
