Martín Levêque (France, 1987) is a multidisciplinary artist who lives and works in Mexico City. His work spans various media such as photography, sculpture, and installation, and is characterized by the exploration of material properties and alternative perceptions of time and space.
A graduate of the Master's in Visual Communication in Reims, France, his most recent work has been shaped by his experiences in Mexico. He was awarded the Color Life prize at the 2020 Abierto Mexicano de Diseño, and his work has been exhibited in major venues such as the Museo Laboratorio Arte Alameda and the Museo de Arte Popular.
Among his accolades are the 2020 Iconic Award from the German Council in Frankfurt and the Grand Prize at the K Design Award in Shanghai. In 2021, he undertake residencies at the Casa Wabi Foundation and Kinono in Greece, solidifying his international presence as a creator of immersive installations and public art proposals.
