Luis Orozco Madero is a Mexican illustrator. He studied communication at Iberoamerican University and illustration at Academy of San Carlos both institutions in Mexico City, he also studied cinematography in Boston and London, and typography in San Francisco. His work revolves around religion, the erotic, narratology, family and self-generated forms. He had his first solo exhibition, Basiquismos, in 2016 at Ángulo Cero. Orozco Madero chose engraving as his expressive outlet for this exhibition, drawing inspiration from Gustave Doré’s and Roger Penrose.
