Poleta Rodete is a Mexican jewelry designer interested in giving an emotional function to each one of her pieces. With every design, she presents a unique identity that generates stories, like the origin and processes by which they were developed. Her work is characterized by the handwork of stones like marble and granite, which in their natural state respond to changes and everyday emotions. That is why she is able to read the stones, participating in a dialogue while working with them. Playing with the concept of the design discourse, she transforms "useless" objects in objects of attraction.
Her contemporary jewelry pieces have been exhibited in Mexico and the United States, including spaces such as the Franz Mayer Museum in Mexico City and Velvet da Vinci Gallery in San Francisco.
